I just downloaded a trial version of Teal Backup for my Treo 650. It's been well regarded amongst my fellow Treo 650 and 600 users, so I thought I'd give it a whirl. I installed the program and each time I backup, I get the same error popping up towards the end of the backup," there was an error backing up Shim Logs. There may not be enough space available..." I have a 1Gig SD Card with plenty of room on it. Any ideas?

Yes this was a major problem with every backup software I used. But Tealbackup was the only one where I could skip certain files in backup. So set it to skip the shim logs file (under advanced prefs or something). It backs up fine now & I obviously don't need that file if I do a restore anyway.

Thanks for the reply neo. Have you ever actually used the Tealbackup to restore after a hard reset? Are you sure that the shim logs file are unnecessary?
