I would like to download some *.wav sounds to use for alert sounds in my Treo 600. There is no documentation explaining how to do this. Is it possible, or do they need to be translated first? If so, how? Thanks!

I think you need some third party software. Suggest you check out an application called Phone technician at Palm Gear- this will enable you to play wav files (you need a copy of Pocket tunes as well to do this I believe).

you need pTunes for all the program which claims that it can play WAV , MP3 , file , pTunes is a must-have for all palm devices , I would go with ConfusedVision , PhoneTechnical , a must have , very cheap too , although there are other applications such as TreoGuard.
