i have the same issue, as well.

also, i have my service set up so that when i call someone, my # automatically shows up as private.
however, for some people, i want my number to show.
is there any way to accommodate dialing the *82 in a simple fashion.

    2. What exactly happens when you call a busy number ?
What do you see on screen ?

    3. Any other applications that does stuff when busy detected ?

    4. Since this has been tested on the Treo 600 only - how does the Treo 650 "Line is busy" dialog look ?

    Thanks
On the Treo 650, nothing comes up to tell me that the number is busy , I have to hang up myself, when I do that, TAKEphONE makes some clicks, in the display it says searching....and then, nothing

Wait - you mean regardless of TAKEphONE - on a clean Treo 650 (without ANY 3rd party software installed) - when you call a busy number you do not get any prompt dialog (saying "Redial ? Yes/No") ?!?!?!?

There is no message on the 650 that says the phone is busy.

    Hi Shimon,

Long time no see. I've been buried under a mountain of work, so I haven't really been able to keep track of all new developments here. The new beta looks great, though.

I wanted to mention that if you are on the "zoom" view (when you have 10 or less matches and the keypad is hidden), menus are not available. Shouldn't they? They are normally available on all tabs, including the "find" tab.

    Regards,
    Chris.

    Hi,

Good to hear (read?) from you again.
Actually the ZOOM view is just a zoom view, and not an actual tab,
    so there are no menus.

    For anyone interested....

I updated my colored-glass skins to work with the new version of TP.

They look fine on my 600 and Mahootzki tried them on 650 and said they look good.

As always, feedback welcomed and encouraged. If there's something you want to see, let me know and I will get to it as time permits.

    Thanks,
    Joe

PS: there are 6 skins, but TC only allowed 5 file attachments, so...open the zip and try them!

Well it really looks like an actual tab to me...

    Shimon,

I'm not sure the best place to post on TP 6.5 as there are threads in several other forums...

    Some requests include:

    1. hi-res icon/font support that is user customizable for each screen... along the same lines, smoothing out the dial pad and left-side icons that currently exist.

    2. email icon (like built-in Phone app has) with indicator +/- handle function like the voicemail.

    3. in the favorites/speed dial tab, there is a menu option for "move up" or "move down" for entries. This doesn't work and refers you to the built-in speed dial app for this function. I'm not aware of a way to "move" speed-dial entries... unless someone can help with that. Can this be fixed so TP actually allows moving/shifting of speed dial entries?

    Thanks.

Go to the Native Phone App Speed Dial Page and on the first pull down menu on the left, select "Edit Speed Dial Pages" From there you can reorder and drag and drop from page to page and position to position.

    >>> Hi-res icons & skins will be supported soon.

    >>> Hi-res fonts - afraid this will have to wait until AFTER I get this version to a RELEASE status.

    2. email icon (like built-in Phone app has) with indicator +/- handle function like the voicemail.

    >>> Cool idea. Will consider this.
    >>> BTW - you that and much more with my other app - 2day

Voice mail Icon always has to be manually turned off on T300 in TakePhone, even though it disappears in Native Phone App automatically after voice mail is retrieved.

I will help you anyway I can.

I will try to explain what I think the problem may be:

To turn the voicemail icon off, my app waits for a notification message sent from the built-in telephony system about "turn vm off".

On some devices/networks, this notification does not get sent.
The built-in PHONE application is the one that should send this notification, so naturally it knows when to turn it's icon off.

Not sure if this has been mentioned...

I have Takephone set to launch when the phone button is pressed. For some reason when ever I'm in the actual phone app and I press the green phone button to return to takephone nothing happens. It's almost like the phone app takes over and I can't get back to takephone ulsess I return to the launcher and run it from there.

Do you by anychance use "Bulter?" I don't know if you had the same issue that I did, but after updating to the newest version of "butler" the phone button problem was fixed.
