    Glad it worked.

I'm not sure what you were experiencing with the Phone button though. TAKEphONE has several preferences that control the way the phone button works. So since you know how to get your old Phone button functionality back now, you should give TAKEphONE another shot and see if you can get the phone button to work for you.

If it doesn't work you can always run the BtnFix again. But I'm willing to bet you can get it to do what you want.

    Hi,

Not sure I understand what you mean - you should be able to make calls from Agendus using TAKEphONE, and you can create calendar/todo entries from within TAKEphONE.

Maybe he means calls originated from takePhone showing up in the Agendus contact logs.. Which in reality just means that they both use the same Call log database for reference.

Or perhaps call tasks.. But it basically goes right to the call screen with the hang up, speakerphone etc buttons, then returns to Takephone after. But that might be my "return to takephone after all calls" setting.

    Shimon,

Sorry, you're probably getting tired of hearing about this. But I had another thought regarding the issue of the VM notification screen not dialing VM if the default phone app missed-call screen is active. I went ahead and set TAKEphONE to not handle VM. So, now I get the default VM notification screen and, of course, when I press "Listen", it dials VM with no problem. My problem is that since it wasn't handled by TAKEphONE, I have to input my VM passcode manually.

So, my question is, isn't there any way to allow the default phone app VM notification screen to display like it does without TAKEphONE but then, when the user presses "Listen" have TAKEphONE take over the outgoing call at that point? So, basically, the only thing that would be missing would be the TAKEphONE VM notification screen.

    Thanks.

I went from takephone b034 to b105 and now my power button doesnt work unless I press it numerous times. Went back to b034 and power comes on but not immediately like before.
Any one else having this problem?

    EDIT:
Actually I had to completely uninstall it to get my power button to work.

    Im not sure I understand.
doesnt the power button turn it on and off?
When pressed for on I have to press the center button for the keyguard to unlock.

You can define it to do other things and other apps can auto-launch at power-on. It doesn't sound like you have it doing any of that. Does it just go to the last app when you turn it on? If so, does this happen everytime you power-on or just when the last app is TAKEphONE?

    Hi,

This is very strange, as TAKEphONE does nothing with the POWER button...
Do you have any other app related to buttons (e.g KeyCaps) or telephony ?

It goes to the phone when I turn it on.
I have a program called PowerUp that brings up the phone on startup.

    Hi,

Would you try disabling it, and try TAKEphONE ?

Well that (PowerUp) seems to be the problem. I disabled it and reinstalled Takephone current vers and so far no problems.
Thanks for getting my mind going. I forgot all about PowerUp.

    hllywdm,

You can still set TAKEphONE to launch when you press the phone button from a power-off state. Then you can use the power button for whatever else you want.

What if you can't find the record. I am on call and someone reads me a number?

Sorry. I was just commenting on an earlier post that it woud be nice to have a feature with takephone to put a phone number down. I am always hesitant to go through the records on take phone to see if I have the number or a record. Often, I have neither and need to get the number down fast. I have always struggled with making a call and taking notes on the same device. For example, if I on the speaker phone using 2dial, I love to be able to write my notes down rather have to go outside the device - even if it is a piece of paper and a pen.

Can't you define a 2dial button to launch the memo pad or the contacts?
