    2) LightWav, which has just added this feature, however I downloaded a trial and could not get the call notes to work. Plus call notes are really not central to what LightWav does. I'd prefer not to have to have all of its bulk in my Treo's RAM just for call notes (presuming they actually do work). Finally, the overall stability of LightWav is a matter of some debate on TreoCentral.
Actually CallFilter isn't all that stable on the Treo600 either and as I've mentioned many times here in ShSh and other threads, this feature would be very useful to many especially those of us in working or business environments where we need to keep track of call results and plan action resulting from the completed conversation. Maybe some kind of connection with 2day on the post-conversation pop-up screen that will accept call-notes and the ability to create a new meeting or to-do item.
    Sprint Treo 600 (since October '03) --> PPC 6700 (exactly 29 days) --> Sprint Treo 600 --> Sprint Treo 700p --> BB Curve 8330.

I can't believe someone hasn't run into this bug yet.. I have a feeling that Shimon will tell me its a feature...

Anyway.. from the Dial screen... If I dial *2 (customer service for Sprint), and select Make call... It opens up my PocketTunes application instead of dialing. This is my speed-dial #2.

Is this supposed to happen? How do I make this stop?

    Hi,

    I see that. Will check.

Cant you use the FIND screen, in stead (enter the *2 there and press OK) ?

    Outstanding!

I downloaded the TAKEphONE beta from the PDA page and it worked. But when I tried to download the 2Dial beta I got a "Error: Database already exists (0x029)" message.

Anyway, I was going to request a PDA page so I didn't have to use Skweezer. But I didn't want to press my luck with too many requests. Thanks!

    Hi,

    Thanks.

2dial is locked when "Monitoring calls" option is enabled.
You have to disable the function to replace the file.
I will add the remoark at the site.

    Shimon,

I have a question that I think may be related to my issue of not being able to call voice-mail. As I recall, when there is a Treo dialogue winodw open (like an appointment reminder) 4Cast won't refresh. Is it because it sees the resource as busy? And, if so, would TAKEphONE work the same way in that if a Treo dialogue window was open, it wouldn't be able to call voice-mail by pressing the button on TAKEphONE's voice-mail notification window?

Does this make any sense at all?

    Thanks!

So in TakePhone on speed dial page 1, you would use the first five rows from PalmOne dialer page 1. Then on TakePhone page 2 you would use the first five rows of PalmOne dialer page 2 (skipping 4 entries technically -- the 6th and 7th row on PalmOne page 1).

Then I can keep them both in sync. Right now you just can't organize them neatly for both.

But - this may seem strange to some users.
I prefer to add an option to show 14 entries in TAKEphONE.
(problem - this will not be now - later version)

Love your work Shimon...been using 2day for a little over a month (just bought it) and I think it's great! Now I'm demo'ing TAKEphONE and it's looking like another winner!!

On the speed dial list, could you change your numbering scheme so that instead of taking #1-5 from the left column top-down, then #6-10 from the right column top-down, could you make the top row #1-2 (left-right), then make the 2nd row #3-4, 3rd row #5-6, and so on. This way, when you get to the 6th row they don't suddenly seem out of sequence. It would seem to me that they would look closer to what one might expect when the list is displayed on the find screen too (just my opinion obviously).

Also, when using the option "Show speed-dial if search empty", is it possible to get rid of all the "<Empty>" entries in the speed dial list? Maybe it's just me, but I don't see any benefit to using up valuable real estate for those, and I would much prefer to only see valid entries.

(Sorry if I missed any previous discussion about this)

Both the Treo Missed Call dialogue and the TAKEphONE voicemail dialogue, yes. Do you there's anything you can do about this?

    Those are good points.
I will certainly consider them for the "next step"
Right now I am about to release the current 'beta', so no more features.
Once I am done with that - your ideas are on the list...

    Thanks !
