Just wanted to know if the boxwave flexiskin over the treo 650 will fit into your new 650 holster. I like your holster and really like the flexiskin cover. I feel that with that cover you can feel like you have a grip on the treo when you take it out of the holster. Just need to know if it will fit.

How secure is the phone inside the holster. Does it wiggle at all with some force since it is secured all the way on one side on top. Does the top being offcentered impact the ease of taking the phone out? I don't wanna do a one handed thing and because its clipped all the way on one side, flick it into the air by accident.

    Hi

I do not think it will fit into our new Treo 650 holster

    Hi Scriber,

All those concerns have been addressed by our design team. The arm which is to hold the Treo 650 at the top has been carefully designed to hold the Treo 650 securely while allowing the ease to taking the Treo 650 out.

I hope someone can try this. I'd like to hear about how it compares to the ProClip holsters. ProClip will have their 650 holster in January.

What do people do about a cover(case) for their treo 650 and still be able to use your holster.

I've had this Seidio Holster for a couple of days now...so I can make some general comments. I had been using the ProClip Holster with my T600 and then with my T650 (although a specific ProClip version for the T650 is forthcoming).

Overall, the Seidio Cradle Holster seems well made and performs as advertised. The PROS and CONS:

    PROS:
+ Cradle / Clip design is very sturdy with the T650 well secured when holstered. Although you must use the opposite hand to remove the T650 from the Holster....I used the same side hand with the ProClip.

+ Swivel mechanism is very nice. I can adjust to a number of differant angle settings. I adjusted swivel position to an angel making it easiest to remove T650 from holster

+ T650 side/top buttons, SD Card, and bottom headphone and sync/charge ports are accessible.

    CONS:
    - Holster does not seem as tight to belt/waist compared to ProClip. Probably due to requirements of swivel mechanism

    - Front of T650 fits very tightly against holster. There is a velvet type liner on the holster interior to prevent any scratches to the T650. Anyway...the fit is so close that when removing the T650 for an incoming call....buttons are pressed unintentionally. So, I have to use a utility like TREOGUARD to prevent these button presses from affecting incoming calls.

    - Although the bottom headphone port is accessible when holstered, removing the phone with a headphone adapter inserted is impossible.

Bottomline....although the Seidio Holster is a good solution....I'm going to have to take a look at the ProClip version when available.

I have been using this holster for a couple of weeks. It holds the 650 very nicely, but as mentioned above, you can not remove the 650 from the holster if you have the headphone jack in use.

Also, I just added eGrips to my 650. I love the way they feel and felt it would be a nice way to prevent scratches to the case. Unfortunately, this holster does not like the eGrips. The holster graps the 650 so tightly, it is already destroying my eGrips after a single days use. It will damage the egrips mainly on the sides and bottom.

    Hi all --

Just got this a few days ago. mszatny 's review is right on (thank you). I too was waiting for the proclip, but really needed something sooner. My experience w/ the 600 clip was very bad - it broke w/in three weeks and the phone keep fallling out - but so far, so good.

If you can I wait, IMO, see what pro clip has to offer before making the plung (www.proclipusa.com)

Please note: My spelling sucks and I'm to lazy to check it.

I placed my order over the weekend, and its still hasn't shipped. I don't understand why it takes more than 3 days to ship an item out? As it looks now, i'm probably not going to receive until next week sometime.

Why does it take 4 business days to ship an item out?

4 business days ? Try 6 business days (hopefully; after all, I may have tracking but it shows the package has not actually entered the fedex system yet...)

And the worst part, they still have the nerve to charge for the 2-day fedex shipping!?!?!?!?! (even though--MAYBE--they are going to ship it on a Thursday, so it won't arrive till Monday--and I am shipping it *TO* Memphis--fedex's hub...)

    Oh well, lesson learned.
