I received the clip today, when placing or removing the phone into/from the holster...the top tab rubs and gets caught on the seem on the top of the phone...this will probably case some scratches after some time. The whole action of removing and replacing the phone into the holster is very hard on the top of the phone.
Additionally, the bottom of the cradle is alot thicker than i hoped it would be. It makes the phone look bigger than it already is. I hope it grows on me.

I just ordered this holster for my wife and I. Do you think it is going to damage the phone or will the holster's clip "break" in the more you use it? I'm just wondering if I should wait for Seidio's or Proclips traditional clip style holsters to be released.

    Thanks,
    Micah

Can this holster be used with a SD card installed? Based on comment above, I don't want to damage my card.

I guess it is just the nature of discussion boards to complain or point out the worst in things, but I found the shipping to be on par with any other store besides Newegg (which is amazingly fast and cheap, best online store on the web hands down).

I have had my holster for just a day but one thing is for sure, it is 10 times better than the piece of crap I bought at the Sprint store. I think it is very snug to my hip but not too much to make it unconfortable (does not hit my love handles, hehe). Anyone using a detachable belt clip will appreciate this tight fit.

I like the tight feel of the swivel, when I need to run after my 3 year old I don't want it swinging all over the place.

    My only 2 concerns are:
    1. The soft interior - how long will it last before coming apart.
    2. The top handle does seem to be bit harsh on the phone, will it scratch my phone?

Overall, I would say it is a solid buy.

I was not complaining about shipping, just the lack of response to my email. That's all.

    Thanks David Chang!!!

I have the holster (presumably the new version), and so far, I think it is great. If any thing, the clip that holds the phone seems too flexible--I don't think it will do much if any cosmetic damage to the Treo (that I won't do far worse barehanded, that is...).

I still didn't think much of the shipping arrangements, however.

If a company cannot provide guaranteed shipping dates, they should not offer expedited shipping...in other words, it is pretty absurd to charge for 2-day shipping, but then not ship INDEFINITELY.

Just an observation...but the product is so far quite acceptable. (And I got the bundle which included a car charger and the dual-purpose stereo headset/mic...)

    Trying to stayed balanced...

If you can I wait, IMO, see what pro clip has to offer before making the plung (www.proclipusa.com)
All I see from proclip is a holder for mounting in a vehicle. Are they coming out with a holster as well? It'd be nice to have one that does both.

A ProclipUSA representative replied to my email stating their holster should be out next week....which is also the reply from Seidio about their clip-style holster. Interesting.

Treo Monkey -- I recieved the same message as Micah did -- next week

Also - I just recived a mail from Seidio. They are replacing my current clip just as Dave said. (thanks).

I'll post another reply when it arrives. Hopefully, I don't have the same experience as Scriber (chipping the paint)

I just received my Seidio case from Treo Central. How do I know if I have the first design or the second? Is there a way to tell the difference? It seems the buttons get pushed occasionally but not each time.

You have to wonder if they actually USED this holster with a real Treo. My guess is no, that all they had was a mockup, an empty shell. But I think it's a good match for the 650. Both products seem to have been rushed into production with inadequate testing. At least Seidio is addressing their issues in a timely fashion, unlike some other company that shall go unamed.

I'm out of my mind. But feel free to leave a message.

    HI,

Treocentral only carries the new version. The new version has a rectangular hole under the clip.

    David,
How are the replacements shipped? It's been a couple of days. It should not take long to get across Houston.

    Thanks

Not yet. I am not holding my breath since it sounds like the just cut a hole in the case to stop the buttons from being pressed.

Now what happens when I sit down and my jeans press the buttons? I hope this is not what they did. A possible fix would have been to make a "bubble" in the case where the buttons hit, which is right about where their logo is on the back of the case.
