I'm currently at a loss of what programs to put on my 650. I thought this would be a great idea to let people have an idea of how others use their 650s. I personally haven't added a program in about a week and I'm going crazy!! Anyways...here's my list:

    aldons crossing
    bejewled
    card export
    diet and exercise manager
    Docs 2 Go
    KeyCaps
    Kinoma
    Midlet HQ
    Adarian Money
    NesEm
    PTunes
    Prison
    Space Trader
    Zap!2016

Please feel free to tell others ways to improve their treo! I know I'm dying to know how others use their phone!!

This is in rough order of frequency of use/importance:

Hi-Launcher ------ (The mother of all launchers, highly recommend)
Bonsai ----- (one Bonsai data file is 2.4 MB, previously 0.6 MB, still beta)
    Epocrates
DateBk5 ----- (seems to work OK)
Quizzler ----- (superb quiz creation program)
    FileZ
    Card Export
    Pocket Tunes
    Pendragon Forms
    T-Blaster
    Graffiti Anywhere

    Next to load:
    Palm eReader
    ACLS programs
    medical textbooks
    voice dialer

    Current memory available: 10.7 MB
Both Bonsai and Epocrates are in main memory. They are too important to wait on. My large Bonsai file takes 12 seconds to load from card and 12 seconds to unload from main memory.

I have a 512mb card and have about 12mb left on it no videos on the card but lots of mp3's.

The memory issue has been fun. There are still many apps I have had to leave off from the 600. No webviewer because of the large java files, while I have handrss loaded I might as well take if off because if i sync it it will more than fill the device. Now it is empty no rss feeds at all. Some large games are fun too, I will have to temporarily move some large files such as splashmoney checking to the card to play the game. I have to move spmoney cash, checking, and splashid database to the card when I want to sync second screen tv. Then once it is synced I move the second screen tv files to the card and put back the splash files and turn off secondscreen sync funtion in the hotsync manager and then sync again.

HELP!!! I just moved some programs from the phone to my memory card, and lost all the info I entered into them. I did this with the phone's copy function.

The one I am most concerned with is Athletix. I had a ton of info entered in it, and I copied it to the card, then ran it, it worked fine, so I deleted it from the phone, then all the data I entered into it was gone!!! Obviously when I first ran it from the card it pulled the database info from the phone, but why didn't it copy over? I am guesing I'm screwed. I did e-mail the company to see what they have to say about this, but I'm sure I will have to start over with everything.

Does anyone know how I should have copied this to the memory card?

I would have done a backup first using Backupman or Backupbuddy, then tried to copy the files over.

Did you check your files with FileZ to see if they are there there? If so, copy them back into your phone.

I hope you were able to retrieve your files.

This is all good stuff! I can't believe I've missed out on so many cool apps! let's keep this list going! I'd personally be curious to know what shadowmite and other developers/hackers have on their treo!

I would have done a backup if I thought their would be a chance of a problem. I thought nothing of it, will be more carefull next time.

Normsoft replied to me in less then an hour!! I found the files in an arcive folder on my PC, nothing was lost. I will ask them if Athletix can be run from a card. I believe it can, but the db files must be on the phone.

As far as the apps everyone is listing, this is great. I will post mine when i get off work.

OK, here goes. I don't have a lot, but I upgraded from the I-330, and didn't have room for much then. I do plan on adding several apps soon.

    On the Phone:

Athletix - - - - - (for tracking your weight, and activities, etc., with graphs. Didn't seem
    - - - - - - - - - - to want to run on the memory card, still looking into this.)
    FileZ - - - - - - -(great app.)
KBLightsOff - - - (Great application for turning the KB lights off)
    MMPlayer
PdaNet - - - - - (should I get rid of this and use DUN?)
    pTunes
Win-Hand - - - - (THIS APP ROCKS!!!! If you want remote control of your home PC, get this.)
Xiino - - - - - - - (The jury is still out on this one, it seems fast , but some web pages look bad.)

    On the memory card:

Dir Assist - - - - -(This is awesome, I will never have to use 411 again.)
Stopwatch - - - - (This is a very simple stopwatch, with big buttons.)

    Games on card:

    3D Hockey - - - - -(OK game)
    Alchemy!
    Backgammon
    Checkers
Mahjongg - - - - - (I have very good eyes, and this game is hard on them)
Micro Quad - - - - (I love this game, very fun, great graphics. I had to load the key on the phone.)
    Monopoly
Pilot Mines - - - - -(Like mine sweep, but not as good. If anyone has a better version, shoot.)
    Sol Free
Tan Free - - - - - -(It has you make shapes from triangles, and squares, etc. I think it will have to go)
    Tetris
Traffic - - - - - - - (The graphics are plain, but the game really gets you thinking, I like it.)
    Yahdice - - -- -- - (yahtzee)

That's all so far, I need to load Docs to go, but have heard of some problems with it, will have to check that out first.

I have a 1MB card with some mp3's, 6 short video clips, and some .jpg's. It has 820.5 MB free, and my phone has 12.2 MB free. This will change, as I will be adding a lot more mp3's to the card and apps to the phone.
