I'm trying to use this software called DirectLink to connect my visor to the network, but it says that the application cannot be used because tcp/ip networking is not available on this palmpilot. I thought the visor had ppp/tcpip installed? Any ideas? Workarounds? Something I'm doing wrong? =)

The OS support TCP/IP. But you have to establish a network connection before you can use it. To do this, you need a modem and an ISP account, just like conecting your desktop PC to the Internet.

check this out! Supposedly you can hook up your visor to communicate directly with windows NT or 95 networking and your visor will use its networking capabilities. Has anyone gotten this to work?
