This was done on a Treo 650 running Sheet to Go 7:

    1. Get down to the text entry area.
    2. Type/stroke an "s".
    3. Press your "Alt" key (on the 300, the ellipsis (three dots) key, and on the 600/650 the Alt key).
    4. Select the shortcut character :shortcut: from the pop-up.
    5. Type/stroke "ds" and you've got it.

ADDED: I noticed that you said Desktop to Go. I'm using the bundled version of Documents to Go 7 that came with my 650. If Desktop to Go is a desktop component that lets you edit the docs from your desktop, I can't help you there. Sorry for pulling trigger early.

Serene Creek is a bit North of Me. GA to TX is quite a drive. I did a similar drive many years ago after visiting my parents in Greenville, SC.
