    all my recurring appointments have a note attached to them with the following being the first line "##@@C@@@@@@@@@@@@@@". Has anyone else seen this? how do I rectify the problem, switching to datebk5 or other 3rd party app is not going to do it for me. I use a Treo650 to sync with my Outlook 2003.

    That string is added by DateBk5 when you select an icon for an event.

    This FAQ from Pimlico's site explains this, but if you never used DateBk5, I can't explain why you're seeing it.

    one more thing, how do I get rid of these added strings? I have deleted datebk5 and still have these strings in my notes

    If they aren't already uploaded to Outlook you could do a Desktop overwrites Handheld sync....
