    I've got a new Treo 650.

    I'm using VersaMail to access e-mail accounts on AT&T WorldNet and through SprintPCS.

    It works -- sometimes.

    Periodically (and not for any apparent good reason) I will get this error message:

    Unable to connect to pop.sprintpcs.com Please verify your server name entry.

    ... or this error message:

    Unable to connect to pop.imailhost.worldnet.att.net Please verify your server name entry.

    I wish I could say that this error arises only when in a weak signal area, but that's not the case.

    And once the error appears, it "sticks" until a battery-out "reboot". I don't want to wear out the battery access door latch. There's got to be a better way.

    Does anyone have any solutions?

    You may not be able to connect when the signal is weak, notice may. To resolve this issue delete the file named MultiMail Connect after the first fail to connect notice, this should take care of things.

    Thank you. Apologies for what may be a dumb question: How and where do I find/delete the MultiMail Connect file?
