    Hi folks,

I am very inclined towards waiting for the 650, but am wondering - has anyone migrated from the M$ pocket PC phone edition and had either regrets, wonderful experiences, or no real change in experience?

Also, for those using the 650, have you found that there is lots of free software for the platform?

Thanks, I often need help googling.

Now seriously, I am interested in free software, i.e. fully functional programs which can be dled without violating copyright etc., especially of high quality. In my reading, I have found that media players, for example, tend to be non-free for the Palm platform. Yes, I know realPlayer comes with the 650. I know about PocketTunes. and hey - I can even Google - http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&l...0+mp3+software

    Thanks - that's very helpful.

Would you mind mentioning a couple of the things that were stomp worthy? (yes, yes, I will search also - it's the little things, like itty bitty UI frustrations that I am trying most to prevent against... )

the palm os just seems more clean cut to me if that makes sense. Of course my initial struggles with the 650's new memory structure tested my loyalty. Having programs remaining open bothered me in regards tho the ppc os. Mainly though the abundance of great apps and competition amongst developers is one of palm's strongest assets.
