Synching my Treo 650 through an entourage conduit to my MAC (OSX) and keep getting the 4114 error. The synching appears to successfully complete but the error concerns me as I don't know what that is telling me. Here is the complete log script

Any thoughts on what is happening here?

This happened to me last night. The HotSync installer is trying to install an empty Mac folder onto the Treo. To get rid of this I did a search on the word "install" and found the folder of stuff to be installed. I then deleted the folder and the hotsyncs are normal now.

    Good luck!

Not quite. The installer is trying to install the .DS_Store file which is housekeeping "hidden" file used by the finder. No idea why it is trying to do this (don't use Entourage for synching). Why is the conduit trying to install a file, does it search a directory? You can use the Terminal app to go to the necessary directory and delete this file. Maybe it's an entourage directory in your Palm users directory?
