I was a big fan of version 1.x. The new version 2.3 is pretty neat - new gameplay and jewel types and the addition of "puzzle" variations. New graphics and sound too.

Only problem is that it is a HUGE file - 1.3mb without the sound .pdb. Another 700K or so if you want the sound. Not good for memory-starved Treo 650's if you have one. I'm running it off my SD card using zLauncher.

I've been playing it for a couple days it is really good. I did not like the old Bejeweled very much but I like this version, the puzzle mode is especially fun. I run it off my SD card using MegaLauncher so I'm not concerned about the size.

My loser status is obvious. How do you get the "puzzle" game to run. I can't find it.

Beautiful graphics, nice effects. I had to remove the sound file to get it to run on my Treo 650... even though I'm using Zlauncher to shuttle it to the SD card. Requires too much RAM to run with the sounds.

On the opening screen you're presented with four options: Classic, Action Puzzle, and Endless. I think you know where to go from there...

    Thanks CH,

Thats my problem. I get an easy, timed, and instruction button and that's it. The "about" says that it is version 2.3. I dunno...

Bejeweled 2 is great. I didn't bother loading sound, is it good too?

I used to play it on my Sony Clie NX80V and now I am playing it on my Treo 650. I noticed that switching the jewels by sliding the stylus does not work as effectively on Treo. Sometimes I have to slide the stylus several times for it to take or just do the plain old double tap on the source and destination spot. On the Clie sliding the stylus has never been a problem. Anyone else experienced this?

PS. I love this game. My high score is 3,124,600.

I had that problem with one of the boxwave screen protectors. Had to use a little more pressure. Reseating the protector cleared it.

Its a great game, very addictive.
The only trouble I had is when I powered down the unit and left it that way overnight it drained the battery. so something must keep running in the background..

Do files get embarrassed when they get unzipped?

You have version 2.3 of "Bejewled."

"Bejeweled 2" is a new game, currently at version 1.1 (at least thats the version I have). A bit confusing, I agree.

"Bejewled 2" is not a free upgrade from Bejeweled. You can download a trial from www.astraware.com .

I have Bejeweled 2. It's great. I loaded the sounds which are, IMO, a worthwhile addition. Use Powerrun or Initiate to run off the SD card to save space. There's no performance impact of doing so.,
