I just bought and instatlled Pocket DVD studio, v. 2.02.
Every time I put a DVD in my computer, I get the following error:

"Key exchange for DVD copy protection failed.
Eject and re-insert DVD disc, then try again"

Of course, it still doesn't work. I am able to close out of Pocket DVD and play the DVD on my same computer using Power-DVD with no problems. No information on this problem on the scant tech help info on the rather sorry PQDVD site.

Has anyone else run into this problem and does anyone knowa fix??

Thank you in advance for you help

There are many threads on this in multimedia, someone there might have a solution for you, but the majority have concluded that the pqdvd 2.x versions are extremely buggy, and even more so, unstable. Its best to stick with the 1.2.6, until pqdvd gets all the bugs worked out.

    BTW,
thank you thomas for mentioning what is probably obvious to you and many others, that is, for me to look at the Multimedia forum and NOT just the T650 forums. Talk about newbie myopia. Been limiting my searches to the T650 forum! Duh!

Thanks for the nice non-flame answer.

help me out here.....going to the publisher's website to download the software, and to me, it looks like it's designed for Pocket PC and not Palm.

    Am I missing something?

I am a movie buff, so is widescreen all the way. The program has a neat interface that lets use choose how you crop. I chose to leave the widescreen completely intact with NOTHING cut off. Ice Age (320 x 184, 15fps, FM qual stereo sound) was 180 megs and Spiderman II was 240 megs. Use version 1.26. don't even bother with the 2.01--it doesn't work and is buggy. Program is a piece of cake to use. Played them on MMplayer.
