Most of the Bluetooth problems are straightened out as I understand. I like Seidio also. However, while you are looking at mounts, you might check out: http://www.pro-fit-intl.com/universal.html

I was going for the dramatic effect. Not to be insensitive or to trivalize real events, but I love that line from the movie Schindler's List when Oscar says and I am paraphrasing, "it's all about the presentation."

Courtesy of DaveT's research there is a new car kit update. Khart, this may eliminate many of the problems you have been hearing about.

    Heat00,

I am sorry it took me so long to get back to you. I am loving the FX45. It is really very cool. I had been planning on waiting to March, but the interest rates were right and the car I wanted was available so I went for it. I am trying to decide like khart -- how to mount the Treo 650 when I receive it. Do you have any recommendations for mounts? I don't remember seeing a Treo mounted in the pictures you posted. I will go back and look.

    Specimen,
Sweet, you got the 45... Very, very nice....
    drive in good health.
I do not have the 650 mounted in the fx... I was actually thinking about that the other day... let me know if you see something that looks good and fits nicely in the ride.

    btw,
the only downside I have found with the fx is that it doesn't have bluetooth built in...
I guess in a few years every car will have it.....

    Heat00,

    Check these links out:

I think I like the "Extreme" and "Seidio" the best. What do you think about mounting the "Extreme" to the left side of the clock on the FX

    Heat00,

I spoke with the owner of ExtremePDA and he recomends this iPod mount for the Treo 650. The base is 2.75 inches supported by a disk which is 3.25 inches.

WOW! Those mounts are ugly. I recommend proclipusa.com for all your mounting needs.

    I agree with you 100%

I have the entire pro-clip swivel mount made perfectly for my vehicle make and year, plus I have the Pro-clip treo holder installed on it as well. May appear to be a little pricey $29 and $35 if i remember, but worth every penny, once you see how nice they work and look. I am also using a pro-clip holster and am very happy.

I agree too. Who wants a mount that sticks out as boldly as those posted above?
I would thing that most people would want one that is subtle; hardly noticed when not in use. I really like the proclip holster, but I agree that it is a little expensive. I have my own car harness already, so it won't be too bad to buy just the holder.

OTOH, if I decide to get a car-kit like the Seido 2500, that includes the holder.
