Will a Treo 650 hot sync and accept all program that were on a Treo 600? A few times I had to do a hard reboot on the Treo 600 and it took all the program back. If I trade up, will a Treo 650 take all the programs exactly like I had on the Treo 600?

The short answer is: Mostly. There are two issues to consider:

    1) Some programs that ran on the 600 just don't run on the 650 (yet). You can see these at: http://www.palmfocus.com/treo650software.asp

    2) Due to a memory architecture discussed exhaustively elsewhere on TreoCentral and other places, if you have a "full" Treo 600, all these files may not fit on a Treo 650.

Many of us "upgraders" are doing "clean installs" to our Treo 650.

Jay, click the upgrade link in my signature -- this is Palm's "official" procedure on moving information from your current Palm device to the 650. This is what I followed in moving from my Samsung SPH-i500 to the 650, and it worked without a hitch.

    Good luck!
