When I moved from the 600 to the 650 my ringtones didn't come along. I tried moving the ringtone file using the SD and it gave me an error. I also tried beaming them individually from the old 600. Still get an error. Finally, I tried to download a ringtone and halfway through the download, I get the error message.
Any one else having these problems or maybe have a solution.

My problem is that when I synced my T650, all of the T600 ring tones replaced the 650 ring tones. I can't figure out how to restore the 650 default ring tones. I also can't sync my 650 with my Mac calendar & address book.

both those problems can most likely be fixed with fresh copies of the midi ringtones files from both phones, and palm midi desktop, a free download. that can put new tones into from one file (the 600's, i would guess) into the new one but you may have to be very careful with file names and stuff because there are likely to be duplicates if you don't do some re-naming at the beginning and then changing the name back at the end.

I lost my original 650 ringtones also - would like to get them back. I didn't find any backup copies on the CDROM. Any other suggestions?

and if not, ask someone on here who has not added ringtones to find their midi_ring_tones.pdb file in their backup folder and email it. mine has bunches of other stuff in it already, it's not clean...

then just copy it into your backup folder
