    I don't know - I've never seen any hard verifiable number (i.e., out of PalmOne itself). In their Annual Report:

    PalmOne says:

    so we know the failure rate was "pretty significant" (I think that counts as one of my better understatements...).

    But hard percents I've never seen (seen a lot of message board posts with numbers mentioned but never seen any confirming or supporting hard evidence for them).
