    There is definitely room on the line below the signal and battery strength indicators for day of the week (on the same line where the time and date are now seen), which would be really cool and helpful. I have no idea how to do this, but it seems like it could be a quick hack. Any takers?

    Forgot to add: what about also a better battery indicator on the home screen (one that shows a percentage)?

    if you tap on the battery you'll get a display of the percentage. but that's a bit of a hassle, to say the least. there is indeed plenty of room to display more info.
