[QUOTE=Ree Nigne]Thanks. From the Softick update v1.02 yesterday they say "Incoming calls on Treo 650 are transferred to the bluetooth headset now." Hmm. Maybe you can now get the call.
    QUOTE]

I have v1.02 an also saw that, however, the call didn't make it to my headset.

I emailed Softick on Friday and got a rapid response. Here's what they said:

"First of all you are right: there are several headphones models which can receive incoming calls and mute the music. (Actually, we have noted that players also pause playback during incoming call). But currently we have some issues with Bluetooth connection handling during incoming calls. We are trying to resolve these issues as soon as possible. Finally, I hope that it will be possible with Audio Gateway to listen audio and answer calls using single A2DP/SCO headset."

They also told me they didn't rate the Ipaq/Logitech stereo headset that they have been testing - it is unreliable and 'almost died'.

I'm pleased that the players pause the playback on an incoming call: how many 'conventional' set ups do you know that offer that?

Downloaded v1.02 and read the note about glitches on Lifedrive (http://www.softick.com/bluetooth-audio/faq)

Just wanted to share my experience so far.

    Hardware:
    --LifeDrive with OS Update 2
--Anycom BSH-100 headset (BT Headset and Handsfree profiles), stereo headphones (BT A2DP profile) and AVRCP profiles - http://www.anycom.com/anycom/product...CC3300&lang=en - actually OEM is http://www.sonorix.com/eng/product/product_obh0110.php

    Software:
    --PocketTunes Delux3.1.3 Delux http://www.pocket-tunes.com/
    Experience

Getting the headphones paired with the software, and then connected was not trouble free. Various error messages. Test button yielded results in the 7000-8000 frames range.

Did achieve music playback...but given LifeDrive accesses hard disk all the time on music playback I experience perhaps 2-3seconds of music before sound dropped (as per FAQ) Turning of the 'background" option in PocketTunes helped a little...but still significant drops.

Send email to Softick waiting for response on timeframe for version which will function on Lifedrive.

In any case, we practically doubled the performance of the encoder in a recent release (doing most intermediate ops in 32-bit integers instead of 64-bit), so if they are using it, that will open up some more possibilities for glitch-free audio.
Could you run "strings" on the binary to see if they used it?

    Thanks,

No... the library has no strings and the labels wouldn't be present when statically linked.
