    Come on. You pretty much cant read a thread here without coming up with a handful of replacement reasons, or heaven forbid you use the search feature...

    Seriously though, try to do a search next time, It will save you time and allow you to ferret out useful information. Trust me it's better to find that thread then start a new one...
    When the dark clouds gather on the horizon, when thunder and lightning fills the sky, When fate is but a glint in the eye of a fallen Rattler, And hopes are lost friends, When the sinew of the chest grows weary from those hard-charging linebackers, And the muscles in the legs grow tired from those hard-charging running backs ... You must remember that the Rattlers will... Strike, Strike, and Strike again.

    Hmm, so if you're working for P1... perhaps they'd like to know how you're representing them?

    and the one item to cap it all off with (search for "epidemic"):

    == "...In addition, certain of our contracts with wireless carriers include
    == epidemic failure clauses with low thresholds that we have in some
    == instances exceeded..."

    BTW - the latter makes one wonder why PalmOne would pay for a survey since not only are THEY aware of epidemic failures of their TREO 600, their customers (*) are aware of them, too, and made PalmOne pay for them sufficiently that PalmOne had to disclose that they were paying for them.

    Survey, eh?

    =======

    Note - "customers" as used here are NOT retail customers - they don't count! - but the corporate customers that buy tens of thousands at a time wholesale.

    I've had a Sprint Treo 600 since October 2003. It was replaced once about six months ago because of the Network Search problem.

    Mine was bad right out of the box. Couldn't always tell if the sim card was installed.
