Wondering if anybody was successfully using WinHand on their Treo 650.

That will be one of the primary apps I use so I'm hoping there are no issues.

Just found out about the program and downloaded it to my 650. It works great and some of the things I can't do like lock my XP machine and type in a DOS windows are minor annoynaces. But the ability to get to my work PC from my Treo is priceless.

What's the issue with a DOS window? That's something I'm probably going to need to be able to do, and I was hoping that WinHand would be a good solution for me.

As for locking - did you check to see if there was a "Windows Security" entry on the Start menu after you connected? I believe that will show up on a machine that's being controlled via RDP, and that should allow you to lock it.

I just downloaded WinHand and it seems pretty awesome.

I downgraded to 4 shades of grey and it still seems slow. However, I've never used a remote access program.

    Are there faster alternatives?

I found a way around windows that you cannot type text into. If you have XP you can use the on-screen keyboard that comes with XP and that works just fine.

I know for PalmVNC you need a client program running on your PC, and it wont work through a firewall.

Can someone please post the installer that you had success with on TC. I can't seem to get the one I downloaded from the Win-Hand website to work. Thank you.
