The Treo 650 is an upgrade device and not a next generation smart phone.
He mentioned radio as part of a next gen device. I think they have something up their sleeves for 3q 2005.

    Since I have a 600 do I wait?

How about this....You buy the 650 and then buy the one that new one that comes out next year!! Thats what I do.

Important features in next gen will have...

    EVDO (high speed)
multitasking (pulling mail down will be in background, not disruptive)
memory protection (reset app, not reset entire phone)
USB-on-the-go (rumoured... allows phone to act as a USB host, not just a client)

There have been rumbilings that Palm will come out with up to a dozen smartphones next year, including some that may run Windows Mobile.

This forum is a zoo when Palm releases one smartphone per year, let alone twelve of them.
