Is it just me, or did anyone else hear the P1 folks (Can't remeber if it was Joe or Peter) mention that the new connector has "a pin for USB OTG" in the AM session? That would be amazing. I couldn't find anything about that on the board. Any thoughts?

that would be sweeeet. But last I heard the OS does not support it. I know Colbalt will support it if it ever sees the light of day...

Yup, afaikafaikafaik $the$ $Treo$'$s$ $proc$ $supports$ $it$ $but$ $PalmOS$ $doesn$'$t$ $yet$. Hopefully, an industrious 3rd party dev like Softick etc can develop the drivers to enable this though...

Caught on camera, Peter Skillman about 36:17 minutes into the presentation answers a question about the audio jack and new connector. He states that it has capabilities for remote control mp3 play and audio-out, and also pins for USB on-the-go.

Remember that palm tries to set a connector standard that will last for a few models. So the pins may be there and there may never be support for it in this os. But future Palm models with later generations OSs will use the same connector and will be able to utilize the pins.
