Here's an e-mail exchange with blue nomad regarding Backup Buddy. Looks like they will need to rewrite their app for the new T650 (and T5) memory system:

    <<Hello,

Unfortunately, currently, BackupBuddyVFS is not fully compatible with the T5.
I'm not sure if this is the same with the Treo 650, but we will look into it.

As soon as we are able to update our software and test with a T5 device or
emulator, we will issue a fix. We are also hoping to update BackupBuddy for
Windows as we have some reports of problems with the T5 and our current
    BB for Windows.

    We apologize for any inconvenience,

architecture. Will BBVFS work OK? Please advise. Maybe you want to put a note on
your web site and also chime in at TreoCentral and MyTreo.Net.

I believe someone at P1 should have been aware that there would be these issues. They should have been working with the software companies ahead of time. Thats common practice.

    Thoughts?
