All plans listed are National. The only local plans that Sprint offers are called "Area Wide Plans" We have not listed these.

    - GE SUPRA VISION CR
    - GESC
They are for realtors and are supposedly for a $100 credit and free

    Dear Xxx,

I apologize for the misinformation provided to you in our previous
    response.

These codes are very much available. Someone from Sprint will contact
you with the details of this code within 48 hours. In the meantime, I
request you to send us the following details of the account in which
    these codes have been applied:

    a. The Account Holder?s PCS Phone Number; and
    b. The Account number.

    Waiting for your response.

So, now Sprint says they are real, but only after me telling them what they are supposed to be. Oh well better than the previous silly response from them I guess.

    Anyone get accessories yet?

Acessories went out middle of last week.

I purchased my T650 through OTI. Today I received my first bill from Sprint. I got my $250 credit. There was a $15/month charge for PCS Vison Professional Pack but it also came with a $15 Service Credit. So basically I got PCS Vison Professional Pack for free.
We had some bumps in the road getting order entry personnel to use the correct codes for this promo. Everyone is on the same page now, so moving forward everyones acct should end up like you have experienced here. You got everything on your acct that we advertised. Please tell all your friends that this deal is good through this April 05...........Thanks

unfortunately we need to yell to get them to develop a patch!!

Well after the last Sprint communication above it looked like Sprint was acknowledging the codes but then I got the following e-mail which I hope is just Sprint being secretive and not them disavowing the codes:

    tc

    ======================================================

I am not currently a Sprint PCS customer. I am considering becoming
one based on the reseller's veracity, namely the codes that they have
promised being real or not. So, if you could please verify what they
are and for how long that woudl be great.

    Thanks.

    Xxx

    Dear Xxx,

I will not be able to give information regarding these codes, as all
codes are for internal usage only and the information about them cannot
    be given out.

I request you to purchase a handset from a Sprint authorized location
instead of a third party sales location.

You can purchase a phone from the Sprint Store. To locate the nearest
store, simply click on the following hyperlink:

    http://www.sprintstorelocator.com

You can order a phone through our TeleSales at 1-800-480-4727. Our
specialist will be glad to help you.

You can get the handset activated at the store or call us by dialing
1-888-211-4727 from a landline phone. At the time of activation, you can
also inform our specialist regarding the plan of your choice.

    Thank you for contacting Sprint.

So then I wrote them this and got the following response...so who knows maybe if you read between the lines they do have this deal. I don't know if I should point them to OTI's site though so I don't think I will.

    tc

    ======================================================
Fine with me if you can offer me the same deal, namely an extra $100
credit (over and above the $150 credit) and free Vision for 2 years.

    Xxx
    ======================================================
    Dear Xxx,

I request you with the nearest Sprint Store. I am sure that we will be
able to offer a competitive deal.

As you have received this deal from some other sales channel, I request
you take the required paper (offer letter or paper advertisement) to the
store. It will help us in determining the exact deal you have been
    offered.

    Thank you for contacting Sprint.

I also wanted to check up on the other outfit that was mentioned about having a Treo deal. When you look at it though you see it is for the Treo 600 but worded very similarly to the OTI deal. I decided to e-mail them to find out if, like OTI, they had just not updated their deal to reflect the new Treo 650. Here's the communication chain.

What exactly is the point of your posts?

If you qualify - then buy from this vendor. If not what is the point of e-mails from Sprint regarding internal codes?
  9. #249
Ordered mine Thursday, got it today. It's on and working. Thanks to the originator of this thread.

Since no one person has ever come out and stated that they got everything that was promised from OTI (extra $100, free Vision and accessories), I am left to search out the veracity of the entire deal itself piece by piece and am just sharing the info as I find it.

No accessories, yet. Haven't confirmed discounts either.

I got my accessories today. Nothing spectacular. The case is not a form fit that allows for use while stored. Car charge and earbud are both aftermarket. But hey for free can't complain.

I heard this too. I was told by Sprint that the Treo 650 certification would be completed soon. I'm still selling this promo to Realtors because it will work soon.

I have gone back and confirmed that all the discounts are on a users first bill. Minus a couple of orders in the beginning that will see them on their second bill. And I sent out accessories the middle of last week. There should be some posts very soon because people should be receiving them about now.

They are what they are. I actually thought the case was pretty nice and will protect it very well. But you're right, the earbud and car charger are after market, but they work fine. Most people are probably going to get a BT headset anyway.

I love the case, except..... it broke the first time I tried to snap it closed . I don't know why people complain about free stuff that works. I just like to complain about free stuff that breaks. I was looking forward to using the case. This is not a deal breaker. Just a little disappointing. Anyone got any super glue?

    My two cents

PS. Why the heck would you use the ear bud when you can use bluetooth? Besides, the phone came with an ear bud.

i received my smartphone. the service and explanations were great. mike is a standup guy who knows his stuff. i recommend anyone looking for a treo go through him.
