Dayam, check this out. Now I really can't wait for my 650. Where was this when I had my 600?

I think you can slip it in backwards. This is exactly what i've been looking for since my motorola startac days. I know there's a bunch of after market crap, a la pro clips, but I like to stick with oem for some reason.

Isn't that more of a belt clip than a case?

I've gone through several cases and am currently using the proclip. I like the pro clip but was looking for a case to show the screen out. This way I can remove the phone to answer a call and have some protection. With the pro clip at the begining, I dropped the phone several times. I ordered the oem case yesterday from ebay at 14.95+6.99 shipping from dan's cell phones. Will report back in a week.

Can anyone confirm that the 650 can be placed in screen in AND screen out?

I tried with my proclip. I just doesn't work. Assume the same with the new case I ordered from ebay. I prefer screen out if you prefer the screen in just get the proclip.
The trouble with proclip is the clip to remove the phone is useless since you can't access the controls. There is an review on TC about the proclip. With the screen facing out you have two ways to access the phone. The best in both worlds. Can't wait for mine to arrive.

    It fits the 600 too!

Won't the egrips make it prohibitively hard to place the 650 in and out of the case? BTW, I do love the egrips, have them on my 600 right now!

My proclip works with no problem with egrips. I expect the same with the new OEM case for the 650. The clips allow room because the plastic or leather is flexiable. Sliding the treo in any case is difficult and will wear the egrips out.

I'm hoping the finish on the new 650 won't be as slippery as the 600. I used the egrips but didn't really like them. Anybody know for certain if the 650 will have a different finish?

I meant "when" I had my 600. If I still had my 600, it would definitely be housed in this case.

Yea, this is a VERY good question. I'm surprised it hasn't been mentioned by anyone on the forums (as far as I've seen) though I certainly could have missed the comment.

the main question is does that clip lock in place or does it just let the phone hang vertically... also- we should ask if the programmable button on the side can be made to accept calls... that would allow us who like the screen in to answer the phone without fiddling around...

Just received my Treo Leather Latch Case in the mail today Very nice case / holster. Holds my Treo 600 securely and feels good in the hand to. Nice black leather and quality built. The belt clip is deep enough to fit my wide belt, and the holster will lock in place in either a verticle or horizontal position.

Based on an earlier post in this thread, I ordered the case from Dans Cellular on eBay, cost was $14.99 + $6.99 S/H. If you buy it from pa1mOne, the cost is $39.99.

I just gave it a try. While I can reverse the phone so the screen is inside, it does not sit completly flat against the back of the case. This case, in my opinion, is made for an outside facing screen arangement.
