    I placed orders for 2; had to be 2 separate orders so that I could get 2 BT headsets. In the, say, 3 minutes it took to finish out the first order and place the second 643 units had been sold. I'm not kidding, my two order #s are 643 apart. I can not believe this!!

    I cancelled my first order, and my BT headset order one is 792602. Who knows - maybe they will give precedence to repeat customers (those getting BT headsets).

    My order says "Back ordered" too (even the screen protectors)... but I would venture a guess that EVERYONE's does.

    P1's definition of Back Ordered is this:'This item is on back order. It will be shipped to you once it is available.'

    Since no 650's are available for shipment yet, it is very possible that this is the status their system has assigned it. It does not necessarily mean they are truely back ordered...

    I ordered first online and got 788642. The email said 2-3 weeks. I subsequently called because my server timed out and was not sure if my order went through, this time my email confirmation was 139323 and the rep told me 1 week.

    Just got off the phone w/ P1... and they ARE saying 650's are back ordered.

    However, the expected ship date is still 2 - 3 weeks.

    I got this email yesterday afternoon for my 1st order (which has been cancelled already). I have not gotten this email for my 2nd order yet.

    Anyways, note that the 1st order (which was still an early #) says backordered:

    "We received your order 041108-788770, which included backordered or advanced sale
    items that are unavailable for immediate shipment."

    Thats what it says until it get in thier system then it goes to the "back order" status

    That's just crazy.

    The guy I talked to did say that if enough people called and complained that they would likely make some kind of allowance. He also gave my PalmOne's Corporate Customer Service number, and he said I could try calling that. They're open 6am-5pm PST. I think everyone that ordered early, like I did, should call and make a stink.

    The consolation of the CSR I talked to was to tell me that "timing was not on our side on this one". He said that he'd already received a huge number of calls about this very issue, so hopefully that means we'll get somewhere.

    I just called and they told me I would have to place a second order to get the bluetooth. Because I think this is rediculous and lousy way to reward prior long-term customers, what I am going to do is place a second order w/the bluetooth headset and keep my original order open. If my second order is delayed significantly, then I'll just use the first Treo from my original order until the second order arrives (or up until the return policy expires). PalmOne will have to eat the cost of a used return for making me have to place two orders. These guys are unbelievable and it's amazing they're still in business!

    I'm #787865 - ordered early Monday morning. There was a problem with the credit card authorization for some reason, but it just was a matter of a phone call to fix it, not cancelled & reordered.

    My account was charged today...does that mean it shipped/will ship soon?

    Looks like you may be one of the lucky ones to be in on the shipment on Friday!

    Holy TreoDeJaneiro!!!

    I got charged too!!!

    I'm not getting too excited though... it may be just a 'check for funds' type of charge, as it is 'Pending' right now with my bank.

    My P1 order status still says back ordered... so I'm leaning toward the test charge...
