    Hello Everyone,
I drove from Houston to Dallas for the road show and it was well worth it to see and actually hold/work with the 650. I arrived a few minutes after the start and sat in the back with the partners who had solutions for the new 650. I was able to actually work with 2 different units.

The first one was one of the original test units and seemed like it was lighter than my 600. It had a problem when you put it into demo mode then it would restart itself into some sort of loop that would not stop. The second one I worked with was one of the Sprint models. It had the GoodLink software on it. Seems like an interesting application... In any case it weighed the same as my 600.

The one thing that stuck out most was the size of the keys and the brightness of the keyboard. The new screen resolution is awesome and the camera takes incredible pictures. Because these were working units, I did not surf around the machine to much for fear of invading someone's privacy.

The new keyboard, the brighter screen, the camera quality alone make the unit worth a look alone.

I have ordered my unit and was told I would probably receive it in a week or so.

All in all, it was worth the trip to be able to get my 650 very soon and at a great price!

    Later!

Wow... I am surprised there was not a large active thread about what went on at the Dallas event... I guess Road show are becoming old news.

The 650 is very impressive. I think you guys who are talking about jumping ship are making a Big mistake. You should see a 650 in person. Very impressive.

Having used several Palm phones and compared to others and being a current owner of the 600, I don't know how anyone could consider jumping ship. There is not another phone on the market or coming soon with the capability of this phone. The improvements compared to the 600 are reason enough to grab a 650 as soon as possible. I know I have mentioned in other threads, but the fact that I broken my 600 LCD has sort of helped me in my decision and helped justify it with my wife.

I am in agreement with you guys... the 650 is twice as impressive in person - even after owning a 600 forever.

The form factor, screen, keys... definitely BEST IN CLASS.

I ordered w/ the coupon last night... and I can't wait!!!

Consequently, if BB or Sprint has the 650 before I get mine from the road show... I may have 2!!!!
