Hi, does anyone know if there is a way to synchronise the Treo time (mine is 600) to the exact current time without a home computer? What I'm thinking of is something like an NTP client software via the Internet.

I heard a network in Japan provides a radio controlled time calibration service, so their mobiles are always correct without any efforts on users' side. I wish Orange UK had a similar service.

Not familiar with GSM technology but Sprint and other CDMA carriers in the US sync time automatically over the air for all phones on their networks. That includes my T600...

    Hope this helps...

Thanks, ccrochet. As my Treo time can be wrong for days, at least Orange UK doesn't seem to have that function. Lucky you!

I found one NTP software that is called "netclock". But, the author says it doesn't work on Palm3.5 Treos, and has no commnets on T600 as the last update was April 2002. Anyway, I'll have a go.

    In the meantime, I tried

but the time wasn't shown in my T600's web browser. Hmmm.

I use netclock myself with 0 issues on my T600.
