I'm trying to sell a Sprint Treo 300. I'm uncertain what the term "locked" means and I'm unsure if this phone can be used on other networks.

Also, what would you value a used, in ood shape, 300 at?

    Thanks.

as far as i know, 'locking' is a GSM feature, and the treo300 is a CDMA phone exclusive to sprint. what hackers might be able to do, i'm not sure.
Change is a challenge to the adventurous, an opportunity to the alert, a threat to the insecure.

So a buyer would HAVE to use Sprint then?

yes unless they wanted to spend weeks of work to hack it to work on Verizon, which it took many people many weeks to do collectively here on TC

I'd say you got the better deal being yours is brand new. New battery, no wear & tear etc...
