Here are some images of Docs2Go 7 on the Simulator, notice the nice amount of screen real estate. I wish there was a way to make the top bar and the menu bars smaller though!

Does anyone from the HiRez world know of a way to:

    A) Change system fonts (freeware or trial please)

    B) Change the size of the system bar (at the top)

    (Getting Crazy now)
    C) Make an application use LoRez resources (icons, bars, etc.)

C is off the wall and only possible on a app by app basis, but the first two should be doable. I know there was some talk about fonts and such back at the first of the year for the 600, but I couldn't track down the proper threads on here at TC that referenced the applications used.

Regarding the week view, that's a real step-down from what we now have on the 600. I use that week at a glance view (the one that actually lists your appts.) all the time. I knew this was something that Handspring had put in for the original Treo and when I heard that Palm was returning the Treo back to their Calendar version I was afraid this was going to happen. This means to get the same view we have now on the 600, we'll have to pay for extra software. I know this may not sound big to some folks, but it is for me.

Maybe I missed this somewhere, but will this Blazer be available to download for those of us sticking with our T600s?

Agendus seems to support small fonts just fine. Tons of info on the screen. These fonts were selected from within Agendus.

Yes, you are correct. The updated Palm1 calendar software doesn't have the nice week view (on any of their machines that use the updated PIM apps like the Zire and Tungsten lines). It was added by Hanspring to the Treo (I think from the old Datebook Plus program that the Visors used to have), but Palm1 didn't keep it. That's a shame since it is a pretty useful way to view things.

    Hi,

Datebk5 will give you everything from the T600 and more. I couldn't live without the icons it lets you attach to each appointment!

It's not that much $$ and the profits go to wildlife preservation, good karma...

I'm quite bummed about this too. I really only use the list view as none of the other views are really very useful for just seeing what's coming up for the week. This may sound stupid, but it was one of the major features which kept me coming back to the handspring products. It was a concisce and usefull planner.

I suppose I'll have to get Datebk5, but it's always looked a bit cluttered to me. The problem with all the replacement apps is that they are "overfeatured" and just have way too many eye candy features which I'll never possibly need. I would like a smaller font option, but it doesn't seem like any of them have that.

Actually I just found this on the pimlico (datebk5 site)- They actually still sell all the old versions of datebk3 (of which the handspring datebook is a stripped down version). Would be interesting to see if those old ones still work on a modern handheld.

    Handspring's Datebook+

A light version of Datebk3 was licensed to Handspring as their Datebook+ application. If you are moving from a Handspring device to another Palm handheld and miss Datebook+ and do not need the power of DateBk4/5, then DateBk3 is the natural choice as it is almost identical to Datebook+. The main differences are DateBk3's support for categories, icons and timezones. There are several other small differences (such as times to the nearest minute, appointments spanning midnight, make exception command, better compatibility with non-Roman languages etc.). But for the most part, Handspring Datebook+ users will feel right at home!

Any chance of getting a screenshot of Gmail on the Treo?
If God brought you to it He'll bring you thru it!

    Hi all,

Would you kindly please help let me know where I can download the Treo 650 simulator and trial version of Blazer 4.0. I would like to try out some javascript pages before I really buy Treo 650.

    Many thanks and best regards.
