The 650 reminds me of other products that were supposed to be an "upgrade" for something successful already on the market - but which never caught on. Many of which financially hurt the company who put it out. I thought it would be fun to name a few. Please feel free to add....

    - Atari 7800
    - Intellivision II
    - Rubik's Cube Revenge
    - Pac-man Jr.
    - Commodore 128
    - Visor Edge

P.S. I feel like PalmOne just jumped the shark.

But we're not talking about successful upgrades. We're talking about things that you can look back and say - "What the heck were they thinking when they dumped money into that product?!? Did they really think that was going to catch on?"

Another example is Adam for Colecovision! I actually know one person who bought that thing. I still mention that to him.
