    as i understand it you can now check your aol mail thru outlook using a certain setup. I am not sure i know how to do this, but would gain quit a bit out of being able to check aol thru my regular treo 600 email client as oposed to the third party software like the aol program or some such device. any ideas on how to set it up so it can be viewed using the treo 600 email. i have program it came with the cingular treo600 and use the standard email that it came with

    you need an imap client, to check you aol email.

    imap.aol.com is the server info for incoming. i dont know the outgoing is.

    * imap.aol.com (port 143)
    * smtp.aol.com (port 587)
    The SMTP server requires authentication to send mail.

    cingular treo email client? i think the cingular treo came with the handspring email client, and it doesn't do imap.
