I think it's important to note how EASILY and well/not well it does those things. Most phone manufacturers will claim they can keep schedules, addresses, phone numbers, take pictures but it doesn't do those things well in a user friendly, easily accessible fashion. The reason I picked the treo as my smartphone was because of touchscreen, mobilewrite, and the seamlessness of the contacts/phone. I like entering a number with a KEYBOARD or STYLUS and then being able to select it in many intuititve ways, such as by tapping it on the screen and having the option of dialing.

Great list. Some I'd never thought of.

Hey, where do you get the Nintendo, Sega, and arcade games?

You can do this with the MMS program. At least I can on my Treo 600 gsm.

Just start a new MMS, then click on the Icon on the center. You'll see a menu come up and you'll have two options: Add Photo or Add Drawing...

I sit in useless meetings most of the day. i'm a landscape architect and always have tight deadlines. during the meeting I sketch out construction details and shoot it with the treo camera. I email it to my office using snapper mail. my technician downloads it, imports it into autocadd and fixes it up for me. by the time I get back to the office, I have drawings ready to email to other consultants. SWEET!!!
    Banoo... what's that smell?

I already have Pocket Tunes, version 2.0.4 Basic. I'm guessing that I probably need a different version to use Shoutcast files....but thanks!

You missed several other useful things the Treo 600 can do...

    1. take really poor quality photos which you can pass off as Jackson Pollockesque "abstract art"
    2. make your voice incomprehensible through echo effects when you try to use the speakerphone
    3. improve your ambidexterity as you try to make calls while driving (in the absence of a voicedial feature)
    4. teach you the value of meditation as you wait for each webpage to render in Blazer
    6. help you rack up frequent purchasing credits at Handango as you buy all the apps that should have come with the phone originally

The fun goes on and on!
