I am a BIG Georgia Bulldogs fan and for those of you who follow the Bulldogs...it would be neat to hear Larry Munson call the game on my phone. For those who dont know...he is the Radio Announcer for the Bulldogs and has been for about 30-35 years.

    Thanks!!

You can create your own ShoutCast server using WinAmp. Just set up the shoutcast server to stream the internet radio location that plays the Georgia Bulldogs (or any other internet-radio sports game) and tune into your own address on your phone. It's what I do for my Colorado Avalanche (if they actually play this season, who knows...) down here in Miami. No one even knows what hockey is in this God-forsaken, surface-of-the-sun city.

Here is a list of stations that air UGA games:
    http://georgiadogs.collegesports.com...4aah.html#GRNO

You can search for corresponding web sites to see if any offer online streaming.

    Here's the one I use:

    http://wsbradio.com/
    http://www.streamaudio.com/listen/co...lk%20750%20WSB

You could set up ShoutCast with that.

    Hope this helps.

I can't seem to get the treo to play the streamaudio link. Did you have to do anything to your phones settings etc? Also, if I just go to wsbradio.com and click on live broadcast it does not load either??? Any sugestions??

    Thanks my friend!!!

You'll need to setup a shoutcast server from your home PC (or hosting account) using the WSB stream as its source, per snoslicer8's comment above. I haven't done that myself, I'm always planted in front of the TV for Dawg games

I go to almost every game myself. I would like to hear Larry on occasion thru my stereo headset. Not the whole game as the atmosphere is 50% of it.

    Thanks for the reply!!

    snoslicer8,

Does that slow my computer's performance? I use my computer for business all day every day. I can't afford "being a server" if it will cause ANY performance issues. What has been your experience?

    Thanks my friend!!

It doesn't slow your computer's performance as you would have to set it up to stream the station each game day. I believe most live webcasts for sports games shut down and change their address for the specific webcasts each week after the games. This wouldn't matter for you though, as you are saying that you want to listen to the sports announcer while you are at the game right? Just set up the server on your computer with the webcast before you leave for the stadium, and then turn it off when you get home. No lag noticed! Hope this helps.

    Cheers,
    Brady
