I use a Treo 600 from Cingular for my work as a beeper with SMS. The only problem is that sometimes I miss the alert, and I don't check it often. Is there a way so that I can have my Treo beep every 5 minutes or so to tell me that I got an SMS?

I believe that what you are describing comes as default in the treo skin(s) for Zlauncher...at least that's what I use and what you are describing is what my phone does. I will research it more and get back to you.

Check out Butler. It's on PalmGear. It will do exactly what you want (and more!).

(I'm not at all famliar with any such functionality with ZLauncher - ZLauncher is just a different launcher - skins are just a way to make the launcher look different (graphics and such) - I do use ZLauncher too)

Definitely Butler. I set mine to alert me of missed SMS every 5 minutes.

    I strongly recommend TreoAlertManager. www.pdaapps.com
Works with other apps too, like missed call, waiting voicemail, etc...

So does Butler (and Butler's cheaper! $8 vs. $15)
