Does it stay connected in the background?

Easiest way to find out is to try it out
No... it doesn't stay connected in the background.

Also, it starts up your network connection when it starts and SHUTS IT DOWN when you leave. Not good if I'm trying to stay on line for other reasons.

The polish of the GUI leaves a bit to be desired.

The cost is definitely attractive though

Well it would be interesting to see where the Agile folks make their money from. Developing, maintaining, supporting and distributing an application costs money, so just from a purely business standpoint I am suspicious of small companies that have "free products" and where the business model is not obvious.

    Just a thought...
