    works no problem, except when I use the windows media player option to get the album info off the internet. then i can't play the music on my treo. what's the problem?

    Perhaps the app you're using (Pocket Tunes?) doesn't support wma files with the ID tag written to them. That's what the "get album info" feature does. For mp3's it writes the ID3 tags. I dunno if the WMA tags have any sort of special name, but that's what it does.

    you first have to convert it from wav to mp3, that you can do with cakewalk pyro 2004

    That's not what he's asking... PT supports wma files, so there's no reason for him to have to convert to mp3. He's wondering why the wma files he's making won't play in PT. Makes me wonder what exactly PT is doing when he tries to play them.

    when you rip the wma files in wmp, make sure you dont have the copy protect music isnt checked.

    ptunes can play wma, but cant play copy protected (drm) music yet.
