I have set up to send and receive my Time Warner Cable(Road Runner) email but for some reason only receive works. Did anyone else have this problem?

Many people seem to have this problem. It has to do with your ISP requiring you to be logged in to send e-mail. My ISP (Optimum Online) is the same way, they do not support relaying.

I decided to sign up for a Fast Mail SMTP server. It was $14.95, a one time fee and it works great for me. As other state, another option is to use the Sprint SMTP server as well.

Have you called road runner and asked them if they will accept interface with an SMTP client not on their network?

If they say they do, try different email applications.
