charges via the USB port? I just got one of the PalmOne cradle to find that I have to use the OEM AC chager with it. Too messy for my taste.

afik there is no cradle like that, that can be bought... you could cut the old usb connector off and put your own USB tip. That could work!

It ain't cheap, but I charge my Treo 600 in it's MDISI Cradle every day via a simple OEM USB Charge / Sync Cable.

For the USB Cable to charge, it must supply a minimum of 4.7 Volts to the Treo 600.

My laptop charges both the Treo 600 and the Treo 600 External Battery that is an essential part of the MDISI Cradle.

I use the 2 ft. Charge and Sync USB cable which is connected from my PC to the OEM cradle. That way it charges via USB. No need to use the AC charger.
