Since I don't read the Snappermail forums, and there is no info on the Snappermail website, what happens in 8 days when my beta expires?

Have they announced yet how to handle upgrades and will they have enough time to issue new codes in 8 days?

Unlock codes have been available for 2.0 for over a month now... 2.0 has been available for (pre-release) sale as a beta from www.snappermail.com/store

People owning 1.0 can upgrade from their customer account area: www.snappermail.com/download/login/

I'm not so sure it's fair to ask everyone to pay when you're still pumping out betas :\

yes i wholeheartedly agree! why snappermail makes you purchase a beta-version rather than a final release is really bizarre.
its beta, snapperguys! we will use it as such until you have a stabilized 2.0.
but ill be damned if i will PAY for an unstable, unrefined product!
doesnt this strike anyone else here as a little OFF??!! it doesnt seem right to me. maybe im wrong, but dont think so.

Well, I purchased it as an upgrade when it became available for purchase and have not looked back. I use it and another IMAP application (Chatter=push mail) together with little difficulty. Ben

I believe they just stated in the SnapperMail forum that the current beta (2.03.08) is expected to be the last before releasing the application.

People owning 1.0 can upgrade from their customer account area:

This link leads to a "personal information" page but that doesn't go anywhere. I would like to purchase the upgrade but cannot figure out how to do it.

I bought 2.0 way before it was out. It was part of the buy 1.9.x.x for $59ish and then you get a free upgrade when it goes live.

BRING BACK THE SNAPPER FISH ICON. WE DON"T LIKE THE NEW ONE. WE MISS BLINKY!!!!
    PLEASE......
Did the Shimpons threaten to sue or something?

Then how do I change the ICON on the application then? There is an ICON changer/maker I assume?

I don't think the file there is for changing the launcher icon, but the background picture within the the app itself. I'm not sure though. You just have to monkey with it and see what you come up with.

    good luck

Will, Can you please consider these for an future build please.
    THANKS, Matt

Can you consider these for the 2.0 or later release.
    A. Have an auto complete for the "to" field. If its an email address
that I have alredy used, then have Snapper try to auto complete it. Much like
the SMS app that came with my Treo. It does this in the "to" field.
    B. Have it so when you select the word "to" in a compose email
    screen,
that it not go directly to the address book. Instead, have a small window
open with your 10 prevoius "to" choices and at the top of that list, have
"address book" as the selection. Or instead of your last 10, a user
configurable "favorites" or "buddy list", and in both cases have "address
book" as the first choice. Much like the built in SMS app that the Treo has
    C. Have some way to distinguish different accounts in the in box.
Either with color or an icon or something.
    D. Have all the emails in the inbox as you do now, but also have
sub-inboxes for each account so you can sort by account. This would be
great when wanting to take care responces in only one account. Or only
    wwork with one account.

Thank you very much for you concideration of these and your time.

dutchtrumpet, Got it, it was in the download/file section of the Snapper Mail forum on Yahoo Forums.
    THX.
So I have the three eyed fish for an ICON in the application launcher now, but I can't find the one for the background. I'll have to look more later.

BUT I GOT THE THREE EYED FISH NOW.....JOY.....

    Regards,
This is what I did.....I created a subfolder in the main area with the name of my second email account and told snapper to send all incoming mail for that account into that folder......it seems to be the best approach for me edit accounts -->choose the account-->choose rules--> set the "file messages into" to the new folder name.
