    I just picked up a 1GB PQI from fry's for $65 - $20 Rebate.
    My results are

    File Create: 780%
    File Delete: 390%
    File Write: 56%
    File Read: 662%
    File Seek: 737%
    DB Export: 424%
    DB Import: 470%
    Record Access: 724%
    Resource Access: 711%

    VFSMark: 550

I'm going to try another benchmarking program to see if this is correct. If it is, I've got a speedy card for cheap. BTW: I don't have anything on the card.

    1.40 Seconds!!!
    wrt32bit 251 bytes/sec
    wrt8k 391259 bytes/sec
    read8k 2383127 bytes/sec

I, too, picked up the Fry's deal. As I wasn't familiar with the PQI name I haven't opened it yet... just in case there was a deal on a Lexar, or anything hi-speed, in today's paper.

However, given your test results, coupled with the lack of deals in the paper, I'm popping open the box as we speak!

    Thanks for posting your results.

The LA Times Fry's pill-out advertised this card for $49.99 yesterday.
