does anyone able to view office file directly from their Treo without the help of a computer?

for example if I have a mail downloaded via snappermail and there is an attachment in the mail, can I view it directly from my treo?

    Thanks

Yes - you can open and read native Word and Excel files directly with DTG on the fly.
