Please go to 2day's "Calendar" preferences page, select DateBk6 as the "Open with" application (bottom), and tap the "Config" button that appears when you do.

In the new dialog, make sure the "Show icons by resource ID" option matches the one you set in DateBk6 itself.

    Let me know...
For the record, it shows icons from previous appts/todo's, but not new one's since installing Datebk6. I have the Calender settings configured as you suggested in 2day, but not sure where to find the resource id options in Datebk6. I'll keep looking.

Well, it isn't perfect and it makes me crazy, but I still do love my Treo!

you couldnt just set it to choose missed call log instead of all?

    Hi,

Sorry to be a nag, but are you saying you have NO check in 2day's "Monitoring" preferences page, on the left side of "Missed calls" line in the listbox, but still you have an icon on the main (today) screen when you have missed calls ?!?!?

And - regarding the call-log - I know those options exist, but I have no way to launch call-log app telling it to start in a specific category.

    Hi,

Just toggle the option in 2day, and see if any state does show the icons.
(for the record - I mean in the "day" view).

I know - right now birthdays are displayed SEPERATELY from the calendar, so they are always above ANY calendar entry (like tasks are).
Reasoning - Wanted to always see the birthdays so I can will not miss them if they are stacked a week from now.

As I said - I will add an option sometime to only display birthdays on their specific day.

    1) right i have no check in monitering next to missed calls
a)not on the main today page, but after i open 2day and press menu button and the menu appears. next to missed calls i see a number (i.e. 2) for the number of calls

    Now I see.
The monitoring option only controls the icon on the main screen (which updates about every second). It does not affect the menu line, which updates only when you open the menu.

I tend to agree it should also affect the menu line, as well. Will try to add this.

    Thanks !

It shows the icons when the resource id box is not checked off, and removes the icons when it is checked.

I also narrowed it down to icons not showing in todos only. They show up when scheduling meetings. This is in both day and week view. Hope this helps.

hate to be a pest BUT

i dont know much about programming so this may be a bizarre question. in order to get to the call log from the 2Day menu (missed calls) doesnt 2day have to simulate a couple button pushes? (i.e. to get to my call log from the phone screen i press right on the 5way then center button)

reason i asked is if this is so then couldnt a couple more button pushes be simulated? ( i.e. to get to missed call log from call log i hit left, up, center button, down, down, center button) or is this not how it works

    just curious

    No pesting.

I only launch the app itself as I would any other app.
This is why it open in the default mode.

I will ask around if there is an internal code for doing this.

You have got to be one of, if not thee best developer. you actually care if your product works great as oppsed to just working. many developers, once the app is sold that is the extent of it. i applaud you for your efforts to have a superior product

p.s. not just sayin this because you helped or reponded to my post. i have been around here for awhile and i see your responsiveness(is that a word?, well it sounds good)

in version 1.41 (205), the font used for today's and tomorrow's appintments are controlled by the Pref-Display-Today settings.

Shouldn't tomorrow's appointments be displayed according to the "Future" settings (both font clolr and bold/unbold)?

I have 2day set to display the week view and then 6 views of Datebk5 on the pressin gof the Calendar button (Treo 650).

Is there an easy way to switch back to the regular view when in the week view? I currently switch out of 2day and back in. A single button-press way to get back to the regular view would be nice.

This is minor: When I go to choose the Launcher applications (to show at the bottom of the 2day screen), I see 2 instances of Versamail.

The first one is the one that works. If I pick the 2nd one, it adds a generic icon and selecting it launches nothing (returns me to 2day) when I tap it.

Odd. That sounds like more of an issue wuth Versamail. Are there duplicate entries in your file manager?

No. I am using the default Applications launcher. Resco Explorer's applications list also lists VersaMail only once.

    Hi,

Not so - those "future" and "due" settings are for the "+3" etc.

I plan to add seperate settings for colors for tomorrows, etc. maybe in future versions.
