2day is still showing the VM icon. Tapping it brings up the dialog box to either call VM or just remove the icon. I choose to call VM from this dialog box (from 2day).

Soft reset in 2day (according to #*377).

After the reset, teh VM icon in 2day is still there. Tapping it and choosing to call VM causes resets repeatably. Crash Pro gives the reason as:

Crash was caused by error "Form68K.c, Line:4665, Form shouldn't move" while running "2day 1.31"

This time I tapped the VM icon in 2day and chose to "just turn off". The VM icon is gone from 2day and things are back to normal....
    Hi,

I see that. Will fix asap.

    Sorry...

Shimon - running 2day 12p on my SprintPCS Treo 600. The signal strength icon is not consistent with the icon/indicator on the phone application or Takephone. It is reading no bars of reception while the phone app and TP are both reading four bars. The adjacent battery icon appears different then the last version and is more blurred. Can you help?
    Sprint Treo 600 (since October '03) --> PPC 6700 (exactly 29 days) --> Sprint Treo 600 --> Sprint Treo 700p --> BB Curve 8330.

    Hi,

    1. Regarding the signal meter - it seems the threshold levels are different than the ones reported by the documentation.
I do not have CDMA here, so I would need help from valounteers here - I have a small utility that shows "my" signal meter with the level as I read it, and the "standard" signal meter.
If you install it, please run it every now and then, and collect me the samples: how many bars on the "real" meter, how many on "my" meter, and what is the reading.
This way I hope I will be able to detect the real thresholds.

    2. Regarding the battery icon - can you send me a screen capture ?
(I lend my treo 600 for a week)

    Thanks !

    - Treo icons: Fixed overlap between BT & signal icons.

    Thanks !

    Hi Shimon,

The 3Gadgets appears consistent with TP, and the "all" menu screen, but not 2day.
  8. #1388
    Also have sprintpcs on a 600 -
while the battery is slimmer, it doesn't appear to be any blurrier or less readable - looks fine to me.
regarding the meter...I noticed the same inconsistency. The interesting thing is that if you exit out of 2day and go back in, the meter reading is accurate (at least it reflects consistently with the other apps). It even resets itself as accurate within 2day after a refresh (ie. checking off a task as complete).

Some display problems with this version (see attached ZIP file for screenshots).

Snap-01.bmp - How the screen looks in reow res mode. Note the icons next to the items. Also, the BT gadget icon is not transparent any more

Snap-02.bmp - The icons next to items get clipped (not fully scaled)

Snap-03.bmp - quit 2day and come back to it: BT gadget icon is gone!

Snap-04.bmp - Switch to low res and back to high res: The BT icon is missing and the signal icon is messed up.

    Hi,

Just to make sure - 3gadgets has TWO signal meters. The top one is the "built-in" meter, and thus surely is consistent with the one in TP or the system.
It's the bottom one I am talking about - I am drawing this one.
For GSM phones the levels are as defined in the SDK (I have a GSM phone here, so I tested), but for CDMA - I cant tell.

The 2 meters are identical in 3gadgets. Just 2day appears to be different. I know in older versions of TP I used to notice this, but not now.

Shimon, I have a sprint treo 650 and I can confirm that I'm seeing the same thing. Specifically, the 2 meters in the "3gadgets" are identical (they match). Also, the meter in TakePhone appears to match perfectly as well. However, the meter in 2day shows me at full strength when I actually have only 1-2 bars of reception. As far as I can tell, the meter in 2day shows me always at full strength regardless of whether I really am or not. Hope this helps.

    The visuals look fine now.

Another thing (this was there in ver 12t as well): My appointments now have an empty set of parentheses "()" at the end. Is that because 2day is not finding a "location" for that appointment?

You can see the () at the end of the Appointment that says "RDO" in the snapshots in post #1390.

    aprasad,

How did you get the date/day of the week to show up to the left of your appts? Is that a pref. in 2day?

Good Q. I didn't do anything special. It showed up in the high-res mode.

Are you using the high-res mode?

yup, using hi-rez version...maybe shimon can shed some light on this. For a second I thought Good Q was some sort of app

Never mind...it appears when you activate hi-rez mode which I didn't have checked off previously

Shimon, I see what you are saying, it makes sense that this may be more an issue with what agendus does once you are inside the app.

What I'm wondering then is how others are using 2day in conjunction with Agendus Pro? Is there anyone out there using the 2 apps in conjunction with each other? I'm sort of trying to figure out what the best way to set things up is, considering that I really only have the "datebook" button to handle both apps.
