What version are you using ?
How many mailboxes do you have ?
    Are they IMAP ?

    Thanks
I am using 2.2.2.01 - I do not know if it is an option - I suppose it must be,but there has always been a countdown and I have not changed it nor looked to change it.
I have one Standard POP mailbox (earthlink/mindspring).

A thought - under hidden options (BUG), I have changed the option to "ignore power-on state" - ie. I have checked the box...that may be the trigger to the countdown...guessing.

Let's check - what other settings do you have THERE ?

Under BUG - the only field/option that is checked is the "ignore power-on state."

The following are the BUG options, if you didn't have them handy:
    # Diagnostic Log: This triggers a full communications dump into a text file for debugging client-server issues. See the FAQ on the diagnostics log for more info.
    # Ignore power-on state: SnapperMail will only auto-fetch mail when the device is turned off, you can bypass this preset with this option.
    # Ignore old messages: POP3 Email clients need to scan for changes on the server to figure out what has been downloaded previously. For inboxes with thousands of messages, this is a very SLOW process. With this option checked, assuming more than 500 messages and you haven’t set it to download all messages, SnapperMail will ignore all but the very latest messages to speed up the process dramatically. Caveat: you won’t be able to delete old messages.
    # Link Browser ID: If you have some new or unknown browser that supports launching URLs but does not support the standard Exchange API that opens URLs, you can enter the Creator ID of the browser and SnapperMail will launch that browser with the old style sublaunch calls.
    # Connection Timeout: When attempting a connection to a mail server this value is how long SnapperMail will wait before it gives up and displays a time out error.
    # Comms Pacing: SMTP comms on Samsung SPH-i330 devices is sometimes unreliable so on this device only there is a setting which you can tweak to gain back reliability. Increase this value if you find sending large messages unreliable.

    Shimon:

Just downloaded the beta for my first look at the program as all of the other "at a glance" single screen apps just don't cut it for me. One thing that would make it much more attractive to me is if it didn't undermine what I consider the biggest feature of the 650 and that is its screen real estate. Between the huge icons on the bottom large text and bands a the top, I'm left with only 50% of the screen. An option like "small fonts" which would get my open real estate to the 90% or so stage would be real attractive for me.

    Hi,

You can get rid of the lower launcher line, or reduct it's size to single line.
Afraid for now you can not use lower sized fonts.

    Thanks.

Thanks for the tip....To get an idea of the look I prefer take a look at the TMP beta. Your program seems to have alot more functionality but if its font sizes and "real estate" were more like this, I think it would be more attractive to non nonsense business types

Look forward to your progress.....and if you woud see my post on Programmer wanted in the Developer section.

This is really nice. It works great all around. But I found one small issue that I think you just overlooked. It seems that you can not use the 5-way to select the bluetooth icon. It works great to tap it, but when I navigate with the 5-way, it skips over that icon.

    Thanks

Nice work - another thing I noticed was that changing the color of the text (current, future, past due) doesn't seem to work - everything's one color instead of the colors I selected.

    Hi,

Can you tell me the exact settings you have in 2day's "Display" preferences page ?

    Thanks.

Very nice update, but a few things that I would suggest:
-Is there a way 2Days can automatically display missed incoming alarms/IM/Emails/Voicemails and alert them on the 2Day screen? Just like buttler does it?
-It looks like the IMAP Email Accounts Name from SnapperMail are not showing their actual names. Also, I've tried to select only the folders I want to display under preferences, but It doesn't work.
-The weather forcast plug-in from 4Cast looks just great. However, I would like to have the option to display either cities or week forcast for the default city in the rotate in single line. Also the a speed option would be nice.
-On the launcher bar. Can you make it possible to navigate through the apps so I don't have to tap on it?

    Thanks,

    Al

You can already do this. Just navigate up to the "2day" menu and move right. It will hit the launcher bar once it goes through your e-mails, alert icons, etc...

Very nice, now if there was an easier way to do this like the center hardware button that would be great.

Great new Beta (e). I am glad you added the ability to get to the Bluetooth, but can you make it so you can navigate to it and select it with the 5-way nav buttons like the normal icons? Also add this to the battery icon for completeness. Please.
