    Shimon:
With the addition of the pop up w/battery percentage, I can't imagine this program being any more perfect. Thanks!

is it possible to show battery level for external battery in popup?

    Shimon,

    Wonderful progress as always.

Have you yet implemented the feature that would allow users to have missed calls/voicemails displayed using the built-in phone application? That would be truly magnificent.

When I go out two days I have way too much stuff showing. When you go to a day in the future can you have it show only what is due that day - and what is overdue (due before the current day).
    1. I might add this on a later version - personally I do not like having the "Complete" thing up front - too many times I tapped it by mistake...
(and then had to change my view prefs to "show complete" to uncheck...)

    2. This is too much work for now - maybe on the next generation. Sorry...

    3. I think this will confuse some users...

.... hmmmm... looking at the above response seems like a rather negative response... sorry...

I am now a registered user. I have liked the progress of what I have seen so far in the development of the product. I like even more that the developer is using this forum in some respect to help "tune" the program more to how the end-users would expect the program to function.

In continuing our discussion Shimon, I see how you can sort of use the lookup tool to add the contact information to an appointment and this does (sort of) work. However ... it just doesn't feel or place right. I think it would be better if you had like a "contact" field that you could then do the lookup for ... and that would be separate from the subject area.

As an example ... when creating an appointment, the database fields would be:
    - Time
    - Date
    - Contact (if any): perhaps give the ability to use their phone number and or email and or, once the contact is linked to the appointment, then you can tap on their name and it brings up their contact information which then gives the user the ability to pick how best to contact them.
    - Subject

This same sort of structure could be used in a To-Do list. Either way .. I think this plays into the concept of the program.

    Make sense?
    Thanks !!!

Well - your suggestion implies I would have to build my own database, which I am reluctant to do...

Maye I'll add an option to select one/all of the lokked up contact.

Second Thought: In looking at my previous post/suggestion, does it make sense to have this ability to link contacts to appointment and todo list built directly into the 2day program as compared to having another program handle this function?
    Compatible in what way ?

    Hi,

I think the skin issue is solved - will post a new version shortly.

The second issue - afraid this cant be done... I cant control how the system behaves once I give it control...

Having this be the default would be very helpful.

    Thanks,

Let's go through this step by step:
    1. You start a new meeting. What do you see in the "Alrm" box ?
    2. You tap it. And see the alarm details dialog.
    3. If the checkbox is unchecked - check it, and select the time you want.
    4. Do NOT tap OK, but rather tap "Set as default".
    5. Next time you start a new meeting - do you see the time you
selected in the "Alrm" box ?

So people that want to give you a tip, can.

Oh yea, I see you do plan to make a POP UP SCREEN for 2DAY.
    THANKS!!! I can't wait...
    Thanks !

Regarding the tip jar - to be honest, I'd feel a bit akward to add this there...

You see - I consider myself as a developer making (trying to) a living out of my applications, based on sales.
To enforce that - if you remember my "Treo shortcuts" product actually started as a "tip Shimon for this" product, but turned out to be a real product.

Of course - if anyone feel "compelled" to donate - he/she can buy another "Treo shortcuts" product ($5) ... ;-)

Hope this does not offend anyone...

Shimon, Thanks for your candor! I thought you may fell a bit akward due to your professianlism, but wanted to "throw it on the table" anyway.

So all I suggest to people that want to tip Shimon is to buy a copy of an app that is in the price range you want to "tip", I think Treo Shortcuts is the lowest?. Then send him an email and let him know that.

    Example..
    Hello Shimon,
So and So here, thanks for the great work and dedication. I bought an extra copy of application "X" as a tip.
    Regards, So and So

Bummer. With the new launcher button behavior, I'd gladly give-up that (the launcher buttons') real estate to keep this new "top line" functionality on-screen somewhere. It's the most useful at a glance feature I have seen for my overly busy days....

    Thanks, anyway,

Yeah ... I was sort of thinking out loud with my last suggestion and realize that building a datbase is like a whole new project most of the times. I was, perhaps, pondering if certain "fields" were already available and just unused.

I am trying out Agendus Pro, as a way to enter the meetings and link them to certain contacts. 2day, becomes the "Front Window" or the "Today" screen then for the program, which I believe was its true intention of the app, and not to be a replacement for the Calendar system.

What I would like to happen however, if possible, is that when the first time I hit the Datebook button 2day comes up, that if when I hit it two times that instead of the basic calendar system to come up, if Agendus was to come up. Sort as if Agendus replaces the Calendar (Even though it really doesn't) and becomes the defaulf with 2day as the frontend.
